The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500: Toughness Redefined

Strong Power and Versatility

With multiple trim levels and four powerful engines available among them, the 2025 Silverado 1500 is ready to cater to all needs. The first engine is a 310-horsepower 2.7-liter I-4 that has best-in-class 430 pound-feet of torque and comes standard with the WT, LT, LT Trail Boss, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, and RST trims. The second engine, which can be found in the LTZ and High Country trims, is a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 with 383 pound-feet of torque.

The third engine, a 6.2-liter, also an EcoTec3 V8 and available for select trims, takes output to the next level with its 420 horses and 460 pound-feet of torque. Then, there’s the Duramax turbo-diesel 3.0-liter I-6, a standard offering for the ZR2 trim that has the strongest torque in the group with 495 pound-feet. The ZR2 trim also comes with standard four-wheel drive, which is available for lower trims, as well as many other features for off-roading.

Convenience Inside and Out

Inside the truck, power windows, rear air vents, a rear window defogger, power door locks, and split-folding front and rear seats come standard in the base model. Rear under-seat storage is available, and select upper trims come with 10-way power-adjustable front bucket seats with heating and ventilation functions, as well as heated rear seats.
Outside, Chevy’s Durabed comes standard, which has the most cargo volume in its class, and it’s complemented by 12 tie-downs. Standard solar-absorbing glass and heated power side mirrors help you battle the elements, a multi-function tailgate is available, and some upper trims have optional power-retractable assist steps with LED perimeter lighting.

Next-Level Tech and Safety

All models have the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. OnStar Basics is also standard, which provides multiple services including automatic crash response, access to Google Maps, Amazon Alexa built-in, and remote vehicle commands. While a six-speaker audio system comes with lower trims, select upper trims have a premium Bose system that sports seven high-performance speakers.
The standard Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and available Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert systems help you avoid side collisions, while Forward Collision Alert and the Following Distance Indicator, both standard, can warn when you’re at risk of frontal collisions. You can also opt for many other extras, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Front and Rear Park Assist, and in select trims, the hands-free Super Cruise driving system.
