You’re in Southern California, and you know what that means! You’re bound to find some of the best Mexican food in the state! We’re here to guide you around Temecula, CA, and point you in the direction of some of the locals’ favorite Mexican restaurants.
1. Guadalajara Mexican Grill & Cantina
When you dine here, you’ll see that the owners pride themselves in providing only the finest ingredients to create their tasty entrees. Try their sizzling fajitas! They also have a Taco Tuesday street taco special for $7; a Wing Wednesday chipotle and buffalo wings for $6 each; and a Prime Rib Rib Friday. Be prepared to have leftovers as their portions are generous. Enjoy your lunch or dinner in the vibrant and colorful environment while listening to live mariachi music.
2. Jilberto’s Taco Shop
For delicious food at a fast pace, check out Jilberto’s. They have some of the best carne asada, guacamole, and salsa around. Relax here with a housemade margarita or pina colada while you enjoy your food. Please remember to drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive. Alcohol is intended for adults only.
3. La Cocina Bar and Grill
From fish, ceviche, carnitas, ribs, and more, try this eatery for a lovely dinner in an enjoyable environment. The Chavez family, who has owned the restaurant for more than 35 years, brings the flavors of Southwest Mexico to their freshly-made cuisine. We recommend the tostada de chile verde, the ceviche de pescado, or the enchiladas de mole. And don’t forget to try the chile verde cheese dip while you’re waiting for your entree!
4. Lienzo Charro Bar & Grill
One of the favorite restaurants in town, Lienzo’s serves up classic dishes as well as homemade soups. We especially love their margaritas and Taco Tuesday specials. If part of your group is in the mood for something different, they also offer burgers and sandwiches. Don’t leave without trying one of their desserts, such as the deep-fried burrito, deep-fried ice cream, flan or cheesecake.
5. Espadín
The owners of this restaurant believe in bringing people together to enjoy each other’s company over bold flavors and delicious cocktails. They insist on using the freshest ingredients and they make everything from scratch to create traditional dishes from their Mexican heritage. Their love of the culture even shows in their signature cocktails as they blend freshly juiced citrus and hand-pressed limes instead of sweet and sour mix to create the perfect drink.
So whether you’re in town for work or play, we hope you’ll love one or more of these Mexican restaurants during your visit. Be sure to stop by Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac for a friendly chat about your vehicle needs. We offer a large selection of inventory, from new to previously owned cars, trucks, and SUVs. Our friendly associates are happy to answer any questions you may have. We’ll see you soon!
