Mexican food in Temecula, Ca

Check out the local Mexican cuisine by visiting any of these Temecula, California, restaurants. Each one offers its own unique twist on authentic Mexican foods. One thing they each have in common is that they will keep you coming back for more.

Guadalajara Mexican Grill


Guadalajara Mexican Grill has been serving the locals authentic Mexican food since 1986. They initially started out in Lake Elsinore, California, and expanded to Temecula a few years later. Gudalajara Mexican Grill serves up its delicious Mexican dishes in generous portions at an affordable price.


Make sure you try the fancy Tostadas, the Carnitas, or the Taquitos Rancheros. Come by for one of their specials like Taco Tuesday, which features $2.49 beef tacos, or Prime Rib Friday. Happy hour is Sunday through Thursday with drink specials on margaritas and domestic draft beers. Guadalajara’s also prides itself on serving the best-tasting margaritas in the city.


Aztek Tacos


Aztek Tacos, formally known as Tacos Tijuana, has quite the reputation in the Temecula area. Every item on the menu is authentic and served fresh and hot off the grill. Just a few things worth trying include the fish tacos or the Aguachile which features raw shrimp with red onions, lime juice, and cucumbers. Aztek Tacos also serves breakfast burritos, like the Chorizo Con Huevo burrito or the Aztek breakfast burrito. Aztek Tacos has recently expanded and now offers specialty cocktails in its Temecula location.


Rosa’s Café & Tortilla Factory


Rosa’s Café & Tortilla Factory offers an American-inspired Mexican menu with a fast-casual restaurant concept. Founded in 1983, Rosa’s has quickly grown from just one location to more than 45 restaurants today. Customers at Rosa’s rave about the beef and chicken fajitas which are carefully flavored and served with the restaurant’s famous tortillas. Additional items on the menu worth trying include the crispy tacos, sour cream chicken enchiladas, and tamales. Rosa’s can serve you in the casual dining room or through the convenient drive-thru window.


Espadin


Espadin offers an eclectic menu of dishes made with authentic Mexican ingredients. While they stick with mostly traditional dishes, they also have found a way to make each one unique to the Espadin brand. Try the Queso dip, which includes Queso Blanco, chorizo, cream, salsa, cilantro, and topped with Cotija, order the two taco combo, which comes with your choice of two chicken or beef tacos, or stop by on Taco Tuesday, which features tacos for just $2 each.


Make sure you also check out the Espadin bar which serves traditional tequila drinks, as well as a large variety of other mixed cocktails. The dessert menu at Espadin is also worth trying. Both the authentic orange and cinnamon Flan or the Tres Leches with pumpkin cake, vanilla buttercream, and salted walnuts, are a great choice.
